Everyday rug care

Vacuum gently with a suitable setting and avoid pulling loose yarns or edges. For a spill, blot promptly with a clean dry cloth; do not rub. Test any cleaning method in an inconspicuous area and follow the care label supplied with the actual rug. Professional cleaning may be appropriate for persistent stains.

Placement and safety

Place a rug on a clean, dry, level floor. Check that corners and edges lie flat; a suitable rug pad may help, but is not included unless the individual product listing says so. Avoid placing a rug where it could obstruct a door or create a trip risk. Rotate periodically if one area receives more traffic or sunlight.
